Job Title: Supervisor (Commercial).
Location: LAREDO

SUMMARY:
  • Performs a variety of custodial tasks, including custodial training, managing, and leading.
  • Oversee shift work.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Leads, guides, and/or trains custodians in applicable procedures and techniques.
  • Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.
  • Must be available to work flexible shift hours including weekends.
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as needed to include; Dust, Mops Floors, Vacuum Carpets, Cleans Restrooms and restocks paper and soap supplies, Empties trash receptacles and bags trash for proper disposal when necessary. 
 
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • High School Diploma.
  • 1 year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
  • Must be bilingual. 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
  • Knowledge of custodial practices, machinery, and related equipment. Ability to understand verbal instructions.
  • Ability to operate vacuums and other related equipment.
  • Ability to understand and follow safety procedures.
  • Ability to safely use cleaning equipment and supplies.
  • Ability to lead and train staff.
  • Ability to lift and manipulate heavy objects.
  • Ability to understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures.
  • Ability to foster a cooperative work environment.
  • Ability to understand written and verbal communications.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Maintain adequate supplies for the daily needs of custodial staff.
  • Must be willing to travel out-of-town when necessary.
  • Must have valid driver license Class C.
  • Must pass a Federal Background.
  • 90-day probationary period
