JOB SUMMARY:
Maintains the cleanliness of a facility and the surrounding grounds to meet customer and client satisfaction.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Ability to perform major janitorial cleaning tasks such as vacuuming (using a 25lb. vacuum daily for 3 to 4 hours), wet mopping, sweeping, dusting, and emptying trash (lifting wastepaper and debris- minimum of 55lbs.)
- Cleans and disinfects drinking fountains, restrooms, including floors and all fixtures (i.e.: Urinals, Toilets, Sinks, Mirrors, Partitions, and Counters).
- Fills dispensers and stocking supplies in restrooms.
- Wash Windows and Sill (Door Glass).
- Must be willing to work overtime and on weekends as necessary to meet events and facility schedules.
- Must be able to walk up and down stairs frequently, as well as regular bending and standing as needed in a daily shift.
- Performs other related duties as required.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND EXERCISED:
- Receives supervision from the Shift Supervisor. Position has no formal assigned supervisory responsibility or authority. Must complete jobs without constant supervision.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- The principal duties of this position are performed in an indoor and/or outdoor environment. Works standing and walking for prolonged periods of time while cleaning and/sanitizing work area.
- Steps, stoops, crawls, climbs, lifts, bends, kneels, pulls and pushes while performing job duties such as heavy physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects up to 55 pounds.
- Physical work is a primary part of job. Work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks, which require following basic safety precautions.
- Work may involve moderate exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, cleaning chemicals, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises.
ALCOHOL AND DRUG TESTING POLICY:
- This position is subject to the DLP Services LLC, Drug Free Workplace Policy which includes: Post-Accident Testing, Random Testing, and/or Reasonable Suspicion Testing.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must pass background check.
