DLP Staffing is currently accepting applications for the position of:
- POSITION TITLE: General Labor
- Location: New Braunfels, TX.
- FLSA: Non-exempt.
- Hire Pay: $15 per hour.
- Classification: Full-Time.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
As a General Labor Installer, you will be responsible for installing equipment both inside and outside. You must be able to work independently.
JOB SUMMARY:
- A clear understanding of general construction for reading and interpreting installation prints, project plans, and specs.
- Skillfully use manual and powered hand tools for cutting, bending, forming, shaping, fitting, and assembling.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND EXERCISED:
- Under the direct supervision of the shop supervisor.
Physical Requirements and Environmental Conditions:
- Must not be afraid of heights.
- Must be able to deal with a physically demanding, high-stress environment.
- Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
- Must be able to bend, stoop, and handle objects with hands and/or fingers.
- Must be able to travel during the week for installations (when needed).
- Must be able to work up to 10 hrs. a day (when needed).
- Other duties as assigned.
ALCOHOL AND DRUG TESTING POLICY:
This position is subject to pre-employment drug testing. DLP Staffing has a Drug Free Workplace Policy that includes Post-Accident Testing, Random Testing, and/or Reasonable Suspicion Testing.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must pass a background check.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test.
Other: Must have a Valid Drivers’ License Class C.
