JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking dependable and experienced Skilled Laborers to assist with a variety of construction-related tasks at an active job site in Uvalde, TX. This role is ideal for individuals who are hands-on, safety-conscious, and familiar with construction environments. Tasks may include assisting carpenters, using hand and power tools, and performing general job site labor duties.

JOB SUMMARY:
- Performs tasks involving physical labor at construction sites.
- Uses hand and power tools to perform a variety of construction duties.
- Assists with framing, demolition, site prep, and material handling.
- Follows instructions to complete job assignments safely and effectively.
- Moves, secures, installs, and loads/unloads materials as needed.
- Maintains a clean and safe job site.
- Performs other duties as requested.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous construction or skilled labor experience required.
- Knowledge of basic construction practices and tool use.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to read, understand, and enforce safety procedures.
- Able to lift, push/pull, and carry heavy materials (up to 55 pounds).
- Must own or be willing to obtain steel-toe boots.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND EXERCISED:
The supervisor provides formal supervision. The position requires independent completion of tasks and good judgment in day-to-day duties.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
This position requires physical labor both indoors and outdoors, in varying weather and job site conditions. Must be comfortable working in construction zones.
